Brow Aftercare
Brow Aftercare:
- Avoid getting your brows wet for 7 days with direct water. Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers and/or hot baths for 7 days. You may shower, but try to avoid getting water directly on your brows for those first 7 days.
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for the first 8-10 days after your procedure. Once your brows are healed after the first 7-10 days, you may apply sunblock to prevent them from fading faster.
- Avoid heavy sweating for a full 7 days. This may cause pigment to fade faster.
- Wash the brows 3 hrs after getting them microbladed with antibacterial soap. Splash with water to rinse, pat dry with paper towel. Let air dry for 5 minutes. Then put ointment on with clean fingers.
- Apply the aftercare ointment given for 3 days with freshly washed hands or a Q-Tip.
- Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the showerhead or take a bath.
- Do Not rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss.
- Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 7 days.
- No makeup, skincare products, or facials to be used on the treated area for two weeks.
- No botox for 4 weeks if applicable.
- Eyebrow tinting should not be done till after 2 weeks (if applicable).
- Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microderms around the brow area once healed for at least 2 weeks (If applicable).
